· preparation and negotiation of a broad variety of research agreements for large universities
· evaluation of insurance and administrative arrangements for the conduct of clinical trials

· providing a regulatory compliance and risk management review for a BC university with emerging interests in research.
Creative approach to problem-solving
· member of the Provincial-University Working Group, designed to strengthen research relationships by streamlining the process of negotiating research agreements
· initiated an Australian workshop to explore common concerns in research contracting, now an annual training session organised by the Australasian Research Management Society.
